Lab Schools: Inspiration in Action
Across the country, innovative schools are reshaping the way we think about education today. Our partnerships with these schools provide thought leadership on new curriculum and ideas that we pass on to schools in our community projects. By setting up peer programs between students in our lab schools and students in community schools, students have the opportunity to learn from one another.
Peak to Peak (“P2P”) is consistently ranked among the top 100 public schools in US News Report. With a renewed focus on social emotional learning, the high school has become an even stronger environment for the students. Currently, we are conducting research with Yale and testing new technology platforms and tools for teachers.
This innovative high school focused on computer coding and multiple technology pathways through an inquiry-based instructional design, is one of the first public high schools of its kind.
The Center for Advanced Professional Studies represents the collaboration of education, business and community, providing students with a unique, immersive experience, resulting in highly skilled, adaptable, global innovators and leaders. Students at CAPS help I3 test ideas and formulate curricula to be used throughout our communities.
Students at Pathways High School are on the journey to not only be great students, but to become great adults. Students learn about their full selves through unique project based learning, where they are provided life-skill building opportunities.
With an 100% Navajo Native American Population, Whitehorse students are disrupting the norm and choosing to think critically about their futures and the future of their community through entrepreneurial and technology based curricula.
I3 is helping teachers understand their student’s motivations to create an inspiring educational environment for all students, regardless of their backgrounds.
At Project VOYCE the motto is “nothing about us, without us,” encouraging student empowerment for all. I3 helps students identify their personal strengths, work together, and come up with plans to change the world.
